Toronto Star – May 8th, 2015

The Sporting Life 10K takes place this Sunday, May 10th and we could not be more excited! The annual race is once again sold out with 27,000 people participating to raise money for Camp Oochigeas, a remarkable charity that offers various programs and an overnight camp in Muskoka to help support children with cancer. A worthwhile cause, and a fun and exciting experience on Mother’s Day each spring has contributed to participation in the Sporting Life 10K skyrocketing over the last few years. In 2014, the SL10K raised over $2.2 million for Camp Ooch to help these amazing children take a break from the challenges of daily life to make happy memories that will be with them forever. The Toronto Star caught up with our amazing team of dedicated ambassadors to find out why this race is so important to them.
